Identity

A human has a sense of who they are as a person. The same is true of a family, group, organization, nation or geographic region. Therefore, the concept of identity is fundamental to understanding the complexity of an individual participating in any level of society. The lack of having a clear identity has been demonstrated to be the source of intrapersonal, interpersonal, moral, community and organization conflicts. A lack of integration of the real person with the ideal person produces internal conflicts which often are surfaced in group or organizational contexts.

We provide solutions for ineffective performance though the integration of identity. The first step is always self knowledge. A standard methodology for gaining objective self-knowledge is assessments. You can review a sample of the assessments available to you through RLG—just click on one of the subjects below (Personality, Interests, Values, Beliefs, or Organizational Culture).

We believe that striving to build a strong self-identity is basic to human excellence and success. RLG, as is the case with all organizations, also strives to reach a particular social identity. Therefore, we share the following:

Our Philosophy
Philosophy is the love and study of wisdom. Our belief is that human, technical, spiritual and future knowledge should be used to bring positive change to individuals, groups and organizations. The philosophy of RLG is that the acquisition of new knowledge should be focused and applied toward positive human development across economic, political and social domains.

Our core value is the pursuit of knowledge - knowledge that informs an individual, group or organization about who they are. We deliver conceptual and practical knowledge as a solution to ineffective performance due to identity and functional conflicts on multiple levels.

RLG strives to both reflect (think) and respond (do) in such a way as to add value to all consulting and technical services it offers.

The need for BOTH reflection and response to current cultural, organizational, moral-ethical, professional, character and aesthetic challenges is a necessary polarity of knowledge application.

Strategy implementation and tactical interventions must be contextualized within the narrative of our 21st century global context. The vast field of testing and assessments driven by globalization demands for cross-cultural assessment and performance measures is now characterized by a wide variance in interpretation of data. RLG is committed to participate in moving the field of assessments towards the highest of ethical standards.

We work with others to bring positive change… our point of orientation is to ask the right questions.

Doing philosophy is a core value. RLG embraces the historic notion that the study of wisdom should go beyond reflection and demonstrate the strengths of its premises. Embracing a philosophy is reflected in the life of the individual, group and organization. You are what you do. The inherent subjectivity of human development models is assumed as that state of reality. Change requires the clear identification of the current state, a comprehensive understanding of the desired state and a dynamic model to shape change.

We work with other to capture expertise and produce intellectual property that targets specific barriers to change.

We employ a scientific-creative dialogical methodology. All RLG solutions center on the exploration, description, prediction and explanation of outcomes produced through the application of human knowledge. We take a holistic, systems approach informed by cross-disciplinary reflection, response and research.
